第25章 不为富贵所动 常将忠孝记挂

Never be moved by wealth and rank and always keep in mind loyalty and filiality.

自家富贵，不着意里；人家富贵，不着眼里。此是何等胸襟[1]！古人忠孝，不离心头；今人忠孝，不离口头。此是何等志量[2]！

That one does not think too much of the wealth and rank one's own family has,nor take a glance at the wealth and rank other families have--what a free and unaffected deportment!

That people of old time always kept in mind the principles of loyalty and filiality,and people of present time often talk about the principles of loyalty and filiality--what a great inspiration!
