What do they mean?
able能夠……的adjective(比較級abler,最高級ablest)
be able to do something表示“能夠做某事”;able形容人時,表示“能幹”,反義詞為unable,但它不可修飾名詞。
• If you stand on this bench, you should be able to see over the wall.
如果你站在這張長椅上,你應該可以看到牆外面了。
• The abler students were given a harder exercise to do.
能力較強的學生,做的練習難度要高些。

ability能力noun
