Foreword II Effective Guideline To Realize The Dream
Lee Yong-tai, Honorary President of TG Sambo of South Korea
I am glad to hear that Philip Hwang has published his autobiography.
His experience is an intriguing drama. From north to south with hardships, he shocked the computer industry in the United States with just USD 50; he was ranked No. 27 in the rich list of the United States with amazing success.
President Hwang realized AMERICAN DREAM on behalf of Koreans for the first time. This was not only by talents, but also efforts results. I especially hope that the growing young people read this book carefully. This book is not only rich in content, but also gives a profound lesson in life.
My first meeting with President Hwang was in 1971 or 1972. At that time, he was a technician in NCR. In 1975, he invited me to his home in the Silicon Valley of the United States. He set up a telegram in his home at that time which was the initial stage of "TELE VIDEO". A few years later, this humble company dominated the US market with its TERMINAL was successfully listed in the NASDAQ.
Later, the“TELE VIDEO” continued creating miracles, PHILIP HWANG caught worldwide attention. His story was covered by Fortune and other newspapers and magazines.
President Hwang later developed PC, PRINTER, NETWORK, and other new products. He also invested in Korea, Russia, and other markets besides the United States. The publication of this autobiography is another symbol of his love to the motherland.
I believe that this book by President Hwang will inspire the reader to take more challenges, and serve as effective guideline to realize dreams.
